There are a few mods i'd like to see on GM and since it's 1 template it won't be that bad and when you can/if you will. if you can add these it'd be great

Yea we do need a switch in templates. Ill see what i can do after wednesday. Thats if CK donesn't get to it first.

Well this is a great looking template, do we want to throw it away ?
Hm, 3.0 looks like it will be out by Q4 of this year, it would seem anyway.

That was a long time ago when GM had that template.

Alright so, you want that hack installed with a new template or with the current one?

Bob seems to want a new template and seph wants to keep the current one right?

So.. how about I install both and we see which one fits better?

What's CH? Categories hierarchy mod - Sub forums.

Which has the mod you want intalled built into its features.

An alternative would be to get the integrated CH mod with a converted template for 2.0.20, I like that idea much better.

I believe I saw they have both templates Ezhypershadow and Zerospace converted for it.

If ezhypershadow was just a flashback and nothing else, then we can choose from the templates that are converted for CH (catagory hiarchy) - subforums.

There are pros and cons to CH:

Pros are its extremely easy to install, I can do it in a few seconds. Really! I did it myself on my own website. It literally took me only seconds to install it.

Cons are you are limited to the mods and templates that have been tested and converted to CH format. Which is tons and growing.

Now I know you guys have dealt with CH before, but its come so far in features that its like a new animal on the inside. The outside looks slightly different, but the internal menus kick ass as far as features because you have Olympus style controls (the guy that makes CH is close with the guys developing phpBB3.0)

The current version is 2.1.14d They are testing 2.1.15 which they are saying will be very very close to phpBB3.0 so I think they will merge the features of CH into 3.0 when its released this fall or winter.

Until then we can get used to the new type admin panel etc..
