I think we should at least have an up to date version of phpBB. The version we have is months old. Just download the "changes" gzip from phpBB, it's easy to follow and nothing will break. Give me a shout if you need my help installing the lastest version.

Sefira, your wrong. I have helped the GM many times with installing mods, and upgrading their forum several times. I have pulled 48 hour days to get the forum back online. I have talked tech with the GMs host and I know the insides and outsides of this forum.

When two ninjas decided the GM was theirs, I hacked into the Yoshi's Island forum and made all the GM admins "admin" of the Yoshi's Island.

This let us have our revenge.

I'm a legend. Because of that Seph and Bob told me in advance no matter what happens now. I will always be part of the staff forever.

When I wanted to buy the GM and seph changed his mind repeatedly, he told me that it wouldbe a good idea to create a duplicate of the GM.

So I did. Is that what all the fuss is about? Is that why you guys pretend to hate me?

Well I got rid of the messages on the GM. It's now its own forum, there is no sign of the GM anywhere there now.

You have no excuse to hate me for any reason.

The admins and staff here are playing a game with you. They want to see how well you will support them. You won't be a staff member unless you pretend to hate me. That's what's going on.


Clearly, I'm the most qualified here to run this place, but I will settle for just helping now and then. Because its not worth posting to see insults as responses to things that did not provoke those replies.

I have talked to the members here privately individually asking them if they really hate the "quandar-bashing" and they tell me they are doing it to impress the staff and are worried that they will lose their staff position if they go against what the staff wants them to do. But they really think it makes the board look bad, and I agree. You guys are gonna run yourselves into the ground. I don't have to do anything.

They like me as a member but will act like they don't to support the others to gain credibility here. If you go against the GM, you will get blowtorched. its always been that way.

I'm not a bigshot here. I'm a 35 year old married man with an advanced degree in computer science and computer animation that runs a game development business that stumbled upon a few kids calling themselves the Gamers Mafia. I know lots of 30-something year olds that do the same thing I do.

These are the 15 year old die-hard gamers in the mid 1980's that owned BBSes like me. I was a sysop for 7 years, with over 1000 active, posting members on my board. It's not like I don't have any expirence. But don't hang on that.

We are an army of gamers that now own profitable game development businesses. It's not anything new. Go to IGDA, you'll probably want to stay away because they are exactly like me.

Hundreds of thousands of Quandar-like people, all were sysops and gamers when they were teens and are all owners of game development businesses.

I decided to join the GM because I was repeatedly asked to by both bob and kratos. I joined and quit because the flaming started up when I didnt do anything to provoke it.

I joined a second time on the premise that I would be an admin evenually. They agreed. So here I am.

So I finally joined, I worked my way up to admin level and I'm staying there. This place has a sort of Family as in Itailian Mafia family type of atmosphere (not the type of family you were talking about dion, thats just plain wrong to think that).

Now how hard is that to comprehend?

Everything else is just mind games that the staff are playing on you to try and make me look bad.

It doesn't work. All it does is drive down the userbase and make the GM look really bad.

Everyone here is a good person. I don't have anything against anyone here.

So stop the mind games.

Lets get back to the business of running the forum.

I installed 2.0.17 yesterday. I haven't seen any mod requests yet. But perhaps we dont need mod requests.

I'll be here to help out when you need me. I'll still be posting in the message bases.

Dion I'm sure every member on this board has talent in one place or another. Not just me. Why not try and find out what their strengths are instead of focusing your energy on putting people down all the time?

Boothead is a great artist.

Bob is a genuis in math.

Kratos is the mastermind behind everything. Without him there would be no gamers mafia. Hes on teh up and up when it comes to games coming out because of his occupation.

Owned4u is a good artist along side boothead.

Colan seems to keep everyone here up to date with the music and band scnene quite well.

Frisco is a great writer.

My talent happens to be computers, computer animation, programming, and installing mods on phpBB forums and fluency in the php language.

If you don't want an expert here fine just don't reply to anything I say.

I never talk about myself ever. You guys are putting me in the spotlight to make it look that way to provoke a response.


I'm sure you have talent dion. But since you never say what it is, it's just making it look like your talent is flaming people in a clueless like way.

I know that's not your talent, so what is it? Everyone here on this board has talent in one way or another. We should all use that talent to our advantage here.

Let the guy that likes movies the most run the entertainment forum, let the guy who belongs to the sony fan club run the sony forum and so forth.

There is an immense amount of untapped wasted talent here. Let's explore what it is.
